How to get there

Directions to Walton Bay Residential Park

Southbound leave the M5 at Junction 19 take the A369 to Portishead, at the
Esso garage turn left onto Nore Road go 1 1/2 miles to T junction with Down
Road turn right onto Coast Road and go 1 mile south, the Walton Park road
will be on the right hand side.

Northbound leave the M5 at Junction 20 Clevedon, take the B3124 toward
Portishead at Walton-in-Gordano take the 1st left onto Coast Road and go
1 1/2 miles the Walton Park road will be on the left hand side
overlooking the channel.

Walton Bay Residential Park is located midway between the coastal towns of Portishead and Clevedon, on beautiful Walton Bay in the Bristol Channel.

PLACES OF INTEREST:
The historic City of Bristol with its large shopping centre, amenities and Zoo is only 11 miles away and while in Bristol, a visit to the world famous Clifton Suspension Bridge that spans the Avon Gorge is a 'must see'. Designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, it was completed in 1864 and today,12,000 vehicles cross the bridge daily.

Another 'must see' while in Bristol is the famous S.S. Great Britain anchored on the quay and open daily for visits. This ship is an important part of English Naval history.

Equally accessible from Walton Bay Residential Park are the Roman Baths and Tap Room in the City of Bath and the magnificent Cathedral surrounded by running streams at Wells which is England's smallest city. Glastonbury Tor and its town are significant pieces of English Heritage that are also worth visiting.

The countryside surrounding Walton Bay Residential Park comprises of the scenic Quantock Hills and breathtaking Cheddar Gorge with its equally famous Wookey Hole Caves ideal for walkers, hikers and pot-holers.

Alternatively why not try a traditional freshly made Cheddar Cheese at the award winning Cheddar Gorge Cheese Company. For bird lovers a day out at Slimbridge is also a must, the bird reserve was established in the 1940's by Sir Peter Scott.

The bustling and popular seaside resort of Weston Super Mare is a only short drive away offering a splendid palm-treed esplanade and traditional seaside attractions for all ages.

Farther down the coast Brean Sands offer miles of picturesque sand dunes and beaches with the opportunity of climbing Brean Down to see the magnificent views up and down the Bristol Estuary and the Welsh mountains.
