How to get there
To find Takeley Park, from the North and South take the M11 and exit at junction 8 towards Takeley and Dunmow.
From the West, take the A120 and follow the signs to Bishops Stortford, and at the M11 roundabout, follow the B1256 to Takeley.
From the East, follow the A120 towards Bishops Stortford, then take the B1256 to Takeley.
From all routes, at the Takeley crossroads traffic lights, where you will see the Four Ashes public house, turn towards Hatfield Broad Oak, and you will find Takeley Park after approx. 500 yards on the left.

Situated on the southern outskirts of the village of Takeley, on the Hertfordshire/Essex border, the park is nestled between open fields but is within easy walking distance of the village centre. The small village has a Pub, Post Office, small general store and a few Restaurants.
Within easy access are all the main towns in the area (Bishop's Stortford, Chelmsford and Braintree), the M11, Stansted Airport, and approximately 2 miles away lies the beautiful Hatfield Forest National Trust site - perfect for peaceful countryside walks. The east coast, with all its beautiful seaside towns is roughly an hour's drive away.
There is a bus stop at the park entrance with links to the village and further afield. There is an overland rail station in nearby Bishop's Stortford with links to London and other National Rail destinations. Stansted airport is only a few miles away, with easy links to many European destinations.
