Owner's Description

Glenholt Park is a fully residential park for the retired and semi-retired, with a mixture of single and twin units. The park has over 300 homes in a large beautifully landscaped 66 acre peaceful country setting and is surrounded by an established oak tree forest.

Glenholt Park is ideally located only 4 miles north of the historical City of Plymouth in the beautiful Plym Valley with outstanding scenic views across the valley and The Dartmoor National Park.

There is an hourly bus service which runs from inside the park to Plymouth City centre. There is a ladies hair dressing salon on the park which is open 6 days a week and the local shops, post office and Doctors Surgery are only 5 minutes away while the hospital is but a short 10 minute drive.

For the golfing enthusiast there are several excellent and challenging golf courses close by the park.

Glenholt Park is a recent acquisition by Barton Park Homes and in the near future there is a substantial redevelopment project planned for the park, including resurfacing of the roads and the developing of new pitches for the siting of new homes.

Plymouth is a City bustling with activity set amidst some of England's most glorious countryside. From its wide and pedestrian friendly green boulevards with their street cafes to its beautiful landscaped gardens and water features, this City is a delight for visitors of all ages.

Whether you are looking for top department stores, major chains or fashionable boutiques or the busy indoor stalls of the popular Pannier Market, Plymouth has them all, or, if all that shopping is too strenuous, why not take a quiet stroll around the excellent art galleries and museums or a walk along the waterfront allows you to explore the history and magnificent setting of the maritime city.

For train lovers the Plymouth area offers a number of small local railways to experience the beautiful countryside in comfort.

However if even this sounds too much like hard work, why not relax and take a boat trip along the coast and into the Rivers Yealm and Tamar or cross into the ancient kingdom of Cornwall with its smugglers coves and quaint fishing villages.

Only a few miles away is the wild beauty of Dartmoor the finest and largest National Park in Britain, the landscape is unique with its high heather covered moors and ancient standing stones.

You can enjoy a traditional pub lunch at one of the many village taverns or try a Devon clotted cream tea in one of the quaint little area tea shops.
