How to get there
From England - via the M8 to Glasgow. Arriving at Glasgow, take the M77. Exit the M77 at Junction 3. Turn right after leaving this junction and go through the next 3 sets of traffic lights. At the fourth set, turn right into Parkhouse Road. Follow this road until you come to a roundabout and go straight over. You are now in Barrhead Main Street on the A736. Continue using directions from (*)
From Glasgow - Travel to Barrhead by your preferred route. Follow Main Road Barrhead (A736)
(*) till you come to a roundabout go straight through passing Tesco's on your right and follow the signs for Lugton/Irvine. (A736) (At Tesco’s you will be no more than five minutes away.) There are 4 landmarks on the left-hand side, Clyde Leather Tannery (a large black building), The Old Mill now used as a lorry park, the sign post Shillford and a petrol station.
Turn right immediately after the petrol station. Follow this road up the hill for a few minutes. Take the first available right turn and 750 yards on you will see the park entrance on the left.
