8.5.09 - Omar Homes are back in business!

Omar Park Homes Limited is pleased to announce they have successfully purchased the intellectual rights and trade name and subsidiaries of the old Omar Homes Group that went into administration on 2nd March 2009.

The business and assets were acquired from Tenon Recovery of London &

Manchester, who were appointed administrators on 2 March 2009. The administrators received substantial interest in the business and assets and several offers were received.

 

After due consideration, Tenon accepted the offer from the consortium led by management. The directors are grateful to the Tenon team for the professional and courteous manner in which the difficult few weeks were managed and for the hard work of Tenon and its advisors.

 

Omar Park Homes is a newly formed company headed by Paul Pleszko, who along with some of the previous management team, have knowledge and experience of park homes and leisure products extending well over 40 years.

 

Tony Roach a family friend of Paul's and successful business entrepreneur has invested in the Company and will be looking after the operational side of the business and is looking forward to the opportunity that exists to rebuild the Omar brand.

 

The Omar Homes Group had a long standing history of designing and building Park homes, lodges and holiday homes which were synonymous with quality, style and innovation. The new Company will also be developing a new range of exciting products to compliment the existing range.

 

The new company would like to thank all previous employees, customers, suppliers and L1oyds TSB Bank for their support over previous years and we look forward to working with them again in the future.

 

The new company is planning to create around 140 new jobs in the coming year, which will be a much needed boost to the town of Brandon.
