Owner's Description
Shirk Oak Park has the benefit of all services including mains gas and telephone available to all homes. The roads are all tarmacadam with Victorian street lighting. Car parking is available to all homes. There are also beautiful open fields for leisurely walks and a conservation area to study wildlife. There is a resident groundsman who lives at the park and deals with routine maintenance. The park manager is also at the park some three days a week providing helpful advice and assistance.
The main shopping centres are at Ashford and Tenterden. Ashford lies to the North of Woodchurch some 6 miles with an abundance of big city style shopping, Boots, Woolworths and supermarket shopping at Sainsburys and Tesco’s. Sporting facilities include, outdoor bowels, a sports centre, indoor swimming pool and local golfing. Weekly Saturday markets and a Monthly European market is a great day out. The main Banks all have branches here as well as building societies. The town has many public houses, hotels and restaurants and much more.
Tenterden's High street features a wealth of historic shops, houses and restaurants dating back from 15th and 18th Centuries. The tree lined road has on either side its antique, curiosity shops and quaint little tea rooms that have the old fashioned service with a charm that makes you feel like you have taken a step back in time.
