Regency Park Homes takeover the Britannia Parks Group

Following close on the heels of the purchase of the superbly located 27acre Takeley Park near Stansted, Bishops Stortford. 2011 closed on a high note for Cheltenham based Regency Park Homes, when in December they took over the Britannia Parks Group, making this one of the largest single acquisitions in the history of the park home industry. A family run business with a history dating back to 1945, Regency Park Homes together with their subsidiary company Landex Parks own parks in some of the most beautiful and prestigious areas of the Country including Yorkshire, The Cotswolds and Cornwall to name but a few.
The takeover now moves the company into the position of being the second largest in the industry within the UK. Regency, Landex and Britannia Parks will retain their titles merely for logistical reasons, but will all operate under the title of Park Life Group. A spokesperson for the new group added, ' with the acquisition of Britannia's additional parks the company has the opportunity to offer yet more first class parks in some other wonderful locations'.
There are some exciting future investments planned during 2012 with many new show homes being sited across the group, incorporating the very latest in style and design, with something to suit all tastes and budgets. Also of course, with Britannia now part of the Park Life Group, there will be the added bonus for any potential customers to take advantage of the parent group's tried, tested and much appreciated part exchange scheme, which has enabled so many satisfied customers to move home with relative ease and without the need to have to wait to sell their existing home, which in the current difficult market can be a great relief to those seeking to downsize and benefit from the equity released from their home.
