Warfield ParkWarfield Park has won its planning appeal against Bracknell Forest Council.

The Planning Inspectorate has published (September 27) its decision to overturn the Council’s refusal (June 2016) and allow 82 new park homes to be built at this award-winning park home Estate which recently celebrated its 70th anniversary.

Barry Sumner, managing director of Warfield Park, said: “This is a great decision for Warfield Park, enabling us to go some way to meet the high demand for park homes in the area.”

The decision to overturn the Council’s refusal was announced following a hearing in public in May.

Although Bracknell Council officers had originally recommended the application for approval, councillors had argued that the site was unsustainable, being too far from services and amenities. The Inspector, Sian Worden, concluded that the proposed development “Whilst not well-connected, neither would it be in a completely unsustainable location...”

Dog and catYou may have noticed that we have started to advise you how many dogs and/or cats a park owner will allow you to bring on to their park. We have been able to collect this information from the Park Rules that parks have deposited with their Local Council.

However, we would like to point out that the park owner may have other conditions which we haven’t as yet been able to program our software to show you.

For example, some parks may show (Dogs 2) and (Cats 2), but this doesn’t necessarily mean that you can bring four animals with you. It may mean that you can have either 2 dogs or 2 cats, or one dog and one cat, meaning two animals in total.

It may also mean that your much loved existing animals are accepted, but not to be replaced when nature takes its course.

To ensure you know exactly the detail of owning animals on a park, please ask the park owner or sales staff for clarification. Thank you.

factory tourWhat a great day we had yesterday courtesy of Prestige and Homeseeker at their show village and what a great group of interesting and interested people we met.

Following a coffee and browse around the show homes in the display centre, Silvano, the owner of Prestige and Homeseeker, took our guests on a factory tour and we think it safe to say, that this tour broke all records lasting an hour and twenty minutes, with our guests showing a keen interest and asking some very interesting questions.

Following a beautiful buffet lunch, courtesy of Prestige, we hosted a Question and Answer session, together with Patrick Chambers from Quick Move Properties, Julie from Lifesure Insurance and of course, Silvano.

The purpose of the VIP Event was to inspire confidence to make that decision to purchase a park home by being able to ask questions and receive unbiased answers and to network with like minded people, all of whom were considering the park home lifestyle.

Thank you all for coming and a big thank you to our partners in this event.
